Whether you have traveled to Miami, Florida for work, vacation or a cruise, it’s nice to stay at a hotel near the airport. Miami Airport Marriott with free shuttle made my radar on a recent trip to Florida.
It’s always a good idea to fly into your destination the day before if you are taking a cruise. An early arrival ensures that there’s less chance of missing the boat! In this case, it didn’t hurt that the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle service to and from Miami International Airport.
They say the devil is in the detail, and on this trip, a free shuttle made my life easier. My friend was flying into Miami at a later time and with the Marriott shuttle service, I didn’t have to worry about picking her up from the airport. More pool time for me!
The hotel has 9 floors, featuring 362 newly redesigned guest rooms and 5 newly redesigned suites, including a Presidential Suite located on the highest floor with views of the Miami skyline. A head’s up to baseball fans; some rooms offer views of Marlins Park.
Our room #811, was a deluxe double room and rented for $165. per night. Prices will vary, so always check the hotel website for deals and promotional pricing. I’m a Marriott Rewards member and I agreed to lock in an early reservation, assuring Marriott’s lowest rates.
Marriott Connection at Miami Airport is unique in that it combines three distinct brands, including a full service Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott and a Residence Inn by Marriott in one location. All three hotels collaborate to offer guests an outdoor pool, 2,500 square foot fitness center and five dining options. There are also additional restaurants available within walking distance of the hotel.
