What makes Retro Inn at Mesa Verde hotel special?

Built in the 1940’s, this independently-owned inn reminds me of a trip to the desert in Palm Springs, California with its bright color scheme. In fact, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time when you check into Retro Inn at Mesa Verde. My 1960’s themed hotel room featured framed pictures from the Rowan & Martin television comedy show Laugh-In.

Fifteen minutes from Mesa Verde National Park and 7.2 miles from Canyon of the Ancients National Monument, the 39-room Cortez hotel is a throw back to a simpler time. Fortunately, this hotel offers high speed internet and televisions in the room. Room types at Retro Inn

Of the 39 Cortez hotel rooms, 17 are dog-friendly with an additional pet fee per night. My room #1971 was a double room with 2 double beds. The single-story inn offers king beds and queen beds – all non-smoking hotel rooms.

Soon, 2 themed suites will be added to the motel room collection. Look for the Great Gatsby and Woodstock themed rooms.
