Hotel Indigo Denver Review

Located in Denver’s Union Station neighborhood, Hotel Indigo Denver Downtown is an ideal location for travelers and adventure seekers. Not only is the Hotel Indigo Denver ideally situated next to Union Station, it’s in the hip downtown LODO Denver neighborhood.

Public transportation from Hotel Indigo Denver Downtown

Guests may explore by foot all the activities Denver has to offer. Visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, parks, breweries and nearby restaurants. Take in a baseball game at Coors Field, watch a football game at Empower Field or root for your team at a basketball or hockey game inside Ball Arena. You are close to everything at Hotel Indigo Denver Downtown.

Train to plane is the option from Union Station to Denver Airport via RTD

Public transportation is a breeze when staying at Hotel Indigo Denver Downtown. We easily traveled from Denver International Airport by train and arrived at Union Station via Rapid Transit District (RTD.) Locals call this Denver transportation option “train to plane.” We found RTD to be safe, clean and cost effective.

Inside Hotel Indigo Denver

The 180-room hotel opened in 2017 and boasts a sleek design with glass exterior. With 101 king rooms, 75 double rooms and 4 suites, there are plenty of hotel options. The 3 star hotel is sleek and modern with cement ceilings and grey cool tones. I liked that they had area rugs instead of wall-to-wall carpet, as carpet seems harder for hotels to keep clean.

Our Hotel Indigo Denver king room, #736, rented for $180 – $250 per night, depending on the time of year and local activities taking place in Denver. Some of the rooms are pet-friendly. The hotel charges $75 per stay when traveling with dogs.

We enjoyed the flat screen tv and fluffy white duvet on top of our comfortable king mattress. The walk-in shower had an adjustable hose and shower head. I also liked the cool barn sliding door leading into the bathroom and the EST bath amenities.

Relax like a Denver local with Terry robe and CBD products

Relax like a Denver local

Check to see if Hotel Indigo Denver is offering any hotel specials. During our visit, we tried the “Relax like a Denverite” package. CBD products are a big deal in Denver. We had a chance to experience the CBD-themed package which included 2 DRAM hemp-infused adaptogenic sparkling waters, CBD moisturizing cream, as well as a locally sourced Spinster Sisters shower steamer and a lovely cotton terry bath robe from Boca Terry – yours to keep!

The Hotel Indigo Denver Downtown lobby is open 24 hours daily for hotel guests.

Hotel Indigo dining

Not yet open during our visit, Three Saints Revival is the restaurant on-site. The Hotel Indigo Denver downtown restaurant will offer breakfast everyday. In the evening the hotel bar will offer a variety of old and new world wines, as well as a robust cocktail program. Denver takes their craft cocktail scene very seriously.

The Hotel Indigo Denver offers AAA & AARP discounts and is a member of IHG hotel. There is a fitness center on property and 24 hour front desk assistance. Complimentary WIFI is included with your hotel stay, as is a mini fridge in room and coffee. On-site parking costs $40 per night and $30 for self-park option.
