Happy Holidays from the Heart of Germany

I recently had the good fortune to be in the Heart of Germany with Viking River Cruises during the Christmas Markets. Our cruise started in Nuremberg, moved onto Bamberg, spent the day in Rothenburg ob der Tauber & Würzburg and sailed into Wertheim, before finishing up in Frankfurt after a motor coach ride to Heidelberg, Germany. I enjoyed visiting each unique Christmas market and would like to share a few scenes of the holidays with you.

I love the half-timbered houses in Wertheim, Germany. With 20,000 inhabitants, the place boasts a castle and plenty of glass blowers.
